Your storefront URL and feed URL do different jobs
Your shop URL opens the store for customers. A product feed URL returns structured product data to another system. Enter the storefront address above; after generation, copy the separate Feed URL from the result.
Use the generated XML URL when a platform asks for a data-feed file address. The URL of this page opens a form and should not be entered as the product source. The hosted XML link does not require a login.
The feed URL stays the same when the file updates
A feed URL identifies the shop and the format. Google is the default when format is omitted. Facebook and TikTok default to new condition; a condition override identifies its own saved feed.
This is an example URL pattern. Replace your-store.com with your store, or let the form create the correct link.
https://feed-exporter.velkasvcs.com/?shop=your-store.com&format=facebook&condition=newUnderstand when an importer gets fresh products
The exporter saves a completed file for 24 hours. Requests during that period reuse it. The first request after expiry rebuilds the feed from Shopify before returning it; there is no background timer that fetches the store while nobody is requesting the URL.
Your destination has a separate retrieval schedule. Configure it to fetch the direct XML URL and review its import results. For an urgent update, select “Generate a fresh feed”, generate again, and trigger a retrieval at the destination. The copied regular feed URL stays reusable.
Frequently asked questions
Should I add force=true to my scheduled feed URL?
Usually keep the ordinary generated URL. force=true rebuilds on every request and can make retrieval slower. Use it deliberately for a refresh when you need the latest storefront data.
Does the URL need to end in .xml?
This service’s URL uses query parameters and returns XML with an XML content type and filename. Use the direct generated URL when your importer supports it. If an importer insists on a file upload, use Download XML instead.
Why is an older price still showing?
The exporter may still be serving its saved version, or the destination may not have retrieved the newer file yet. Refresh the export first, then refresh the destination’s data source and inspect its import result.
