From Shopify products to Merchant Center
This generator turns the readable public Shopify catalog into an RSS 2.0 XML product feed using the Google namespace. Each variant gets its own item, with its Shopify variant ID, product link, listing price and availability. Images, descriptions and brand are included when the storefront provides them.
Use it when you need a downloadable feed or a hosted file URL without installing a Shopify app. It does not connect to your Google account or manage campaigns.
Add the XML feed to Google
- Generate your feed using the form above and copy the resulting feed URL.
- In Merchant Center, add a product source from a file and choose the option to enter a link. Paste the feed URL, not this landing page.
- Set the retrieval schedule and review the imported products. A downloaded XML file can also be uploaded manually.
Check the product data before advertising
The feed uses the shop’s public listing currency. It does not convert currencies or create separate Shopify Markets feeds. The saved file is reused for 24 hours; a request after expiry generates an updated export.
Missing source information stays missing. Shipping settings, category-specific attributes and account approval may require additional work in Merchant Center. A successful export confirms the file was generated; Google still reviews the products.
Frequently asked questions
Does it include size and color variants?
Yes. Each readable variant becomes a separate item. Products with multiple variants share an item group ID, and recognized size, color, material and pattern options are included when available.
Does the feed include sale prices?
When Shopify exposes a compare-at price above the current price, the feed includes that higher price and the current sale price. Otherwise it uses the current listing price.
Can I use it without a Google login?
You can generate and download the XML without a login. You need your own Merchant Center account to submit products to Google.
